Heather M. Jordan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Redding CA. Heather has a BA in Psychology from Simpson University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Simpson University where she received the Award for outstanding contributions to the community. Heather has extensive experience working with individuals dealing with a variety of issues including, PTSD, ADHD, adoption codependency, and anxiety. Her passion is to work with clients to help them discover their unique inner strengths as they come to understand and solve the problems they face. She has worked within the educational system empowering and supporting parents as they navigate the difficulties of parenting and the many transitions they face. Her person-centered approach has proven successful in helping clients as they work through a range of difficulties and life challenges. Heather incorporates several theories in her work but has come to believe the foundation of effective therapy is a strong and trusting relationship between client and therapist.
Heather is married with three beautifully unique children and has called Redding her home for over 20 years. Heather is a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), as well as the Redding Regional Chapter of CAMFT (RRC-CAMFT).
